Register a Domain Name

For business entities, state enterprises, or trademark / service holders

Documents: can be considered in 2 cases

Case 1. Register the domain name by considering the organization name

1. Juristic person registered in Thailand

• Certificate of juristic person or document TorKor 0401 or May 0401 (commercial registration) or document Phor.Por 20 (VAT registration)

2. Foreign Juristic Person Must have a representative registered in Thailand

• Certificate of Foreign Juristic Person (both original and English translation)
• Certificate of juristic person registered as a juristic person in Thailand
• Certificate certified by a foreign juristic person Which has the following importance
  • Certified that a juristic person registered in Thailand is a representative company
  • Certificate of permission to use a foreign juristic person name in domain name registration By specifying the domain name clearly

Case 2. Domain name registration based on trademark / service mark / certification mark / joint mark

• The domain name must be exactly the same as the trademark / service mark / certification mark / collective mark.
• Agency / Person With more than one trademark / service mark / certification mark / joint mark can register a .co.th domain name according to the number of marks

1. Trademark / service mark / certification mark / joint mark registered in Thailand

• Certificate of registration of trademark / service mark / certification mark or collective mark That have been registered and issued by Department of Intellectual Property, Thailand

2. Trademark / service mark / certification mark / joint mark registered in foreign countries Must have a representative registered in Thailand

• Certificate of registration of trademark / service mark / certification mark / foreign joint mark (both original and translated into English)
• Certificate of juristic person registered as a juristic person in Thailand
• Certificate certified by a foreign juristic person Which has the following importance
  • Certificate of juristic person registered in Thailand as a representative
  • Certificate of permission to use trademark / service mark / certification mark / international joint mark in domain name registration By specifying the domain name clearly

For organizations or individuals (more details if children under 15)

Additional policies

- Able to register an unlimited number
- Domain name can be set independently under “Domain Name Principle” (only 1-2,4-5)
- Foreign trademarks can apply for domain name registration under .in.th to protect rights The domain name must match every trademark letter. But will not be able to use it There is an annual fee. The same applies to the domain name with normal usage.
Documents: 2 cases can be considered

Case 1. For organizations

- Document showing organization establishment or

- Work permit in Thailand (work permit)

For NGOs
